Two and a half centuries ago in Russia and the whole of orthodox Christian world God sent a man whose prayers and prophecies have become an integral part of everyone’s life – it was Saint Seraphim of Sarov. This saint greeted every person with a prostration and the words “oh, my joy, Christ is risen”. This great old man, prophet and a foresightful miracle man knew the future of not only individuals but also the future of whole nations. He read each soul as a book. This is a film about his life.
